Our Mission

& Vision

Our mission is to build empowered
individuals with foundational principles
to sustain family ties that leave a lasting
impact for generations to come.

Who We Are

At Pure Haven Family Resource Center, we build empowered individuals with foundational principles to sustain family ties that leave a lasting impact for generations to come through a system of Christian Counsel and life-applicable workshops.  Our organization has been in existence since February 2015. We have offered Domestic Violence since 2018 and discovered that families needed more than what we were offering, and agencies wanted to refer more clients that were court-ordered for Partner Abuse Intervention.  The severity of the need and the impact on families suffering from Domestic Violence increased and we had to turn individuals and families away because we were not equipped to service them.  One year ago, we started working to establish a PAIP program to meet the needs of individuals and their families that have and currently are experiencing Domestic Violence.  We currently have five fully trained, two partially-trained facilitators and advocates for this specific certification.  We are in need of 3 additional fully trained facilitators and victim advocates to meet our vision for programming. Once having all applicable parts in place, we plan to launch our 25-week perpetrator program and 15-week Victim Services this fall, hence our need for funding.

Our Approach

Individuals and their families are provided
necessary tools and resources for enhancing areas of their lives that lack stability through a continuum of christian counseling sessions and intensified biblical based workshops which
include but is not limited to personal
evaluation, goal setting, accountability
application, life skill development, and task
mastering to aide in the redirection of Heads of Households and their families who lack the ability and confidence to identify areas of weakness by utilizing methods designed to empower and meet each person's individual unique need. We do this through confidential counseling, developmental workshops , social
events, partnerships with long standing
organizations and the contributions from our community supporters.
